Hopeless delivery prep service. I don't know how busy this place gets on a typical Friday night but that's no excuse for sending only half the items we requested AND sending it much later than usual. Very lousy at preparing deliveries on time. Might be worth a walk-in but we're definitely never ordering delivery from here again. Bloody frustrating.
Have been going here for years and the food has usually been good (hence the 2 stars) but tonight had an order and they let me walk out without the fish. There was only one other customer in there at the time and they said goodbye as I left. When I got home they called and said "the fish was forgotten" as if to say it was no one's fault. As I only had half a meal for the family, I went back to get the fish I had already paid for. 15 minutes later I was greeted with a "sorry about the fish". 45 minutes after ordering and we're eating half cold half warm food. Can't say how disappointed I am with these guys.
Good food with very reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Gets very busy on a Friday evening so best to phone your order in before you go. It's my usual place even though it's not the closest.
Im not one of those people who ever gives 5 star reviews but man these guys are great. Ive tried so many fish and chip shops and melbs and this is the first fish and chip shop in Melbourne Ive tried that actually do proper fish batter. It will make you drool. The chips are perfection too! Thank you!!!!
