What a great library centrally located in this town. With all modern amenities that youd expect these days. Nice spaces for kids. Good toilets. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking out the front. Computers available. Meeting rooms available. Staff are excellent and very helpful.
Lovely place with lots of unique quiet corners and study areas and community meeting rooms. Books, talking books, DVDs and computer games. The rooftop garden is delightful. There are lifts and toilets and drinking fountains. City of Yarra has a desk for paying rates, registering dogs etc.
Its a pretty nice library. They are doing their best to be inclusive and have something for everyone rather than just be a traditional library (theres certainly plenty of those around Melbourne). The video games screen for kids is a bit much and the library shouldnt really be your babysitter while you sip lattes up the road. Also the sunday opening hours are odd like whats the point even?. Also feels like its much much smaller than the building its in. But the staff are very friendly, the selection is pretty on brand for the area.
Really nice library , one of my favourite places! However its impossible to find a place to study, the tables are always packed. There are rooms upstairs eg community offices however, not allowed to use them due to OHS issues :( really annoying when its packed and theres free space we cant use
great library. it's always full. It is hard to find a space but I guess that means it's working. only reason for 3 stars is the opening hours on the weekend. The community obviously uses this space a lot, please City of Yarra, extend the opening hours.
