Highly recommend. Great range of interesting (including healthy) food and drinks that are reasonably priced. Pleasant and spacious place to be and appear happy with people staying a while working on laptops etc. Staff clearly enjoying their jobs, responsive table service. I had a delicious smoked trout and quinoa herb n kale salad and a Zinger juice Grapefruit, mint, lemon and ginger - both superb, much better quality than i expected. I'm now hoping they do Uber delivery.
The female barista yelled at me, as a young teen, 5 years ago for ordering at the wrong counter which scared me away until now. Today I gave it another try and the male staff member was so rude. After waiting to be seated, my friend and I sat ourselves down at an empty table, figuring thats what we were meant to do. I then got up to collect my own menus after waiting for even longer. The man got mad at me and in a really sarcastic tone told me that he was not trying to do his job or anything and complained that they were all busy around here. The food was fine but my overall experience was ruined by what couldve been a simple statement that he would get to me in a minute. It was rude and unnecessary, the younger female staff member, however, was very lovely. Was possibly the two worst cafe experiences I have ever had and it is safe to say that I am never going back.
Rude staff. Went in today (new years day - and they were open) with a mate for breakfast. Asked the guy working there if I could have a menu (i think its a reasonable question to ask given they were open) His response you must be dreamin. Just coffees only in front of other customers. I guess he was the only one working there today and he was busy. All he could have said was only coffees today sorry. Never going back. Happy New Year!
What else do you do while waiting for service... write a review. Its a nice environment but staff do not give the time of day and I always end up going to the counter myself for service.
The usual Cafe in Melbourne type atmosphere. There's not much special, but it's a good place to get a coffee and breakfast. I enjoyed the double espresso, it was the size it should be and tasted good. Others I've tried in Melbourne have been too woody tasting or too small (less than 60ml). We tried the omlet which was also good. The prices are neither too high nor too low.
