Passed through here to play a show and I couldn't believe how well I was looked after. The owner and chefs have created an absolutely delicious menu which takes pub grub to the next level (Try the Balonne Chicken!). The staff were super friendly and really took the time to welcome us and point out some great accommodation nearby. Great experience and worth stopping in St George just to grab some food there then check out the river.
MASSIVE Chicken Parmigiana! Nicely presented meal. It must be a favourite local spot, as the restaurant is very busy. Better than your average bistro meal. In the garden bar there are misters and fans to help keep people cool in summer. The interior needs a bit of a facelift.
I can honestly say I've just had the best Scotch fillet steak that I've had in a long while. Perfect . Surprisingly varied menu, well worth a visit if you're travelling through.
